Professional Tiger Fish Guide
Tiger Fishing with Adventure Fishing Safaris is not a regular Tiger Fishing experience, as an owner run operation our service is professional with a highly experienced and skilled guide (Mike) available for your adventure, so it is not some hired guy taking you out on the dam on a poorly equipped boat and just sitting there letting you try figure it out
Our boat is well equipped, our tackle is well maintained and current. Please note that we supply all the tackle required.
Our specialty is spinning (artificial lure casting) and fly fishing for Tiger Fish.
Spinning is a really interactive way to target these fearsome predators, and the takes are explosive and adrenalin pumping. For those with little or no experience we can have you up to speed quickly and enjoying your fishing.
Fly Fishing is far more technical and you need to know how to cast a fly rod before you choose this option.

Our Statistics - What you can expect on your Tiger Fishing Safari
Please remember that all our Tiger Fishing is done with artificial lures or fly fishing, we do not offer bait fishing.
On an average 3 day trip we would have around 90 strikes, with 30 fish landed, of those 30 fish, 1 will be a big fish in the 4 Kilo range, 6 will be decent fish between 2-3Kg, we get many fish in the 1-2Kg range and also some small rats in between.
Our best session was over 40 fish in 3hrs with several decent size fish there, the worst day we have had produced only 3 fish.
The best tiger fish that one of our clients has caught was 5Kg which was caught on 8lb spinning tackle, Mike’s personal best was a 5.5Kg landed on a 6wt fly rod. |

Firstly, I would like to thank you for an unforgettable couple of days. This was certainly the highlight of my fishing experiences.
To start off, we arrive at our campsite, finding everything unpacked, organised and the tents ready for the next four days. The information and statistics we received from you while sitting around waiting for our first session of Tiger fishing was very informative, and also found to be very correct. The fishing was much more than what I have expected. To land 23 Tiger fish in two and a half days, of which the largest of 5 kg, was just awesome! Mike, I have to compliment you on your fishing equipment, from boat to rods, reels and lures. They were of the highest standards and in impeccable condition. The food you supplied was something to look forward to after a hard session on the water. (I must have gained 3 kg during the couple of days) It was always very tasty and of good quality and quantity.
