Adventure Fishing Safaris offers
Guided Estuary / Harbour Fishing, Inshore Fishing and Offshore Fishing for Game Fish
off Durban and in Durban
Harbour and at Kosi Lakes.
Mike a self confessed lure fishing junkie is the founder and owner of
Adventure Fishing Safaris and grew up fishing in Durban Harbour
and was one of the original Fly Fishing Pioneers in Durban Harbour back in the day.
Mike was the first Charter and Guide in Durban to practice Catch and Release
and this conservative ideal is still at the foundations of the operation and
compulsary for all fish caught on fly or spinning along with a specific list
of species that are mandatory to release no matter how they were caught.
ALL OUR SPINNING AND FLY FISHING IS STRICTLY CATCH, PHOTO, RELEASE
Spinning. Light Jigging, Light Tackle and Drop Shot are really interactive ways to target these predators, and the takes are explosive and adrenalin pumping. For those with little or no experience we can have you up to speed quickly and enjoying your fishing.
Fly Fishing is far more technical and you need to know how to cast a fly rod before you choose this option.
If you are looking for a Marlin Fishing, Big Game Fishing, Game Fishing and Tuna
Fishing offshore fishing charter or
looking for a standard Deep Sea Fishing trip / charter, please go view our other
website where we specialise in this type of fishing.

About targeting Game Fish on Lure or on
We have a good variety of fish species we can target from Springer and GT's
in the Harbour to Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado Offshore in the summer months.
Most of the year we have Bonnies around which are great fun on light tackle,
spinning or with a fly rod.
Although we have hooked up Sailfish on fly offshore it is an extremely
difficult fish to target and even more difficult to land.
In the Harbour and at Kosi Lakes we target the fish by spinning lures or
casting a fly, when heading out offshore in addition to spinning and fly
fishing we can also target fish with light jigging or troll lures and baits
with light tackle.
Durban Harbour Fishing
The Game Fish in the harbour are seasonal from September to March, but there are also many resident species that can be targeted using bait and light tackle.
If required, we can also arrange accommodation for you.
Durban Inshore and Offshore Fishing
We have a wide variety of species inshore and offshore in Durban. Inshore
there are a number of species that can be targeted almost all year round,
offshore species will mostly be Tuna and Dorado in the summer months.
Kosi Lakes Fishing
